The army controls new locations in Ain Zara and captures two from Alkani militia.

The commander of the Volcano of Anger Operation Control room , Brig. Salem Burawi , confirmed on Tuesday that the Libyan army forces had taken control of new positions in Ain Zara axis, amid clear retreat of the Haftar militias.

Burawi added, in a statement to Arraed that the Haftar militias are still targeting the safe people in the capital, which resulted in casualties among them, calling on international organizations to monitor these crimes.

For his part, a military source said to Arraed, that the Libyan army forces captured two members of the Alkani militia affiliated to Haftar in the Ashridat area in the vicinity of Tarhuna.

It is worth noting that on April 19th, the army forces took control of large areas of Atwaisha, south of Tripoli, and areas within the administrative borders of Tarhuna.
