On Monday, the Ministry of Health’s Crisis and Emergency Committee called on all local and international humanitarian institutions to take urgent action to stop attacks on health institutions, the last of which is the “Alkhadra Hospital”.
The ministry said, in a statement, that targeting Alkhadra Hospital with a number of shells led to the disruption of the electrical supply generator, which necessitated the evacuation of patients and their transfer outside the hospital, pointing out that among them were infected with corona, which exacerbated the humanitarian health situation in Libya.
On Saturday, the Haftar militia targeted the Central Medical Hospital, wounding a woman in the head and her in a critical condition, and a security man assigned to protect the hospital.
It is worth noting that the media advisor at the Ministry of Health, Amin Alhashmi, confirmed to Arraed that 4 people, including a worker of Bangladeshi nationality, were injured as a result of the targeting of Haftar militias to Alkhadra Hospital.
