The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Mohamed al-Qiblawi, said on Tuesday that the ministry has already begun communicating with the Consulate General in Istanbul to register citizens stranded there who want to return to the country.
In a statement to Arraed, Al-Qiblawi explained that 120 people lived in a hotel in Istanbul, and there are 250 others, including 76 families, who will live in another hotel in the city.
And Al-Qeblawi said that the consulate will work to secure the financial value of the return ticket for citizens who want to return to the country and pay the value of the Turkish visa for those whose period has expired. Until the 3-week period for the ports are to be closed.
Al-Qeblawi emphasized that the ministry is doing its best to provide the best services to the citizens so that this crisis passes well, and all must work together to maintain the security and safety of the country in terms of health.
It is worth noting that the Presidential Council issued a decision, Saturday, to close the air and land ports as part of the emergency measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
