Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Pilot Mohamed Qanunu, confirmed that the army forces repelled an attack by Hifter militias in the Ramlah axis, killing 15 mercenaries, destroying 4 armed vehicles, and capturing a member of these militias.
qanunu explained, according to Operation Volcano of Anger, that the attack by Hifter militias is backed by Janjawid mercenaries sheltering behind an Emirati tank and armored vehicles, noting that the prisoner confessed to the arrival of 35 armed vehicles belonging to them from Murzuq to the axes south of Tripoli.
Qanunu said that the army dealt with the fire sources in the axes of Ain_Zara and Almatubat, and managed to kill 10 members of Hifter again, calling on civilians to stay away from the positions of the Hifter militias and the mercenaries and not to allow them to use them as human shields.
It is worth noting that, on Friday, the militia of Hifter fired indiscriminate shells on Tareeq Ashook area in Tripoli, wounding three civilians.
