Boqadoum: We hope the UN will appoint a UN envoy who is not biased to any party.

The Algerian Foreign Minister, Sabri Boqadoum, expressed his hope for the appointment of another UN envoy to Libya, after Ghassan Salama’s resignation, as soon as possible, and that he would gain acceptance by all parties and not biased to one at the expense of another.

Boqadoum said, in a statement to the Algerian News Agency “Oujah”, on Sunday, that Algeria is continuing its efforts to solve the crisis in Libya, noting that there will be developments in solving the Libyan crisis in the next few days.

It is worth noting that the Algerian presidency, in a statement issued on January 6, after a visit by the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, to Algeria, announced that the Libyan capital is a “red line” that no one could cross.
