Karmous: Salama seeks to replace the legitimate authority to end the Libyan-Turkish Memorandum of Understanding.

Member of the Supreme Council of State Adel Karmous said on Sunday that the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salama is striving to end the legitimate authority in Libya and replace it with another government that can evade the two memoranda of understanding between Libya and Turkey.

In his statement to Arraed, Karmous stated that Salama works for France and the Emirates with which he has relations that will be achieved only through the termination of the two memoranda of understanding between Libya and Turkey, noting that the memorandum of understanding related to the demarcation of maritime borders touched the interests of a good number of European countries that were taking Spectator stand.

Karmous added that Salama is able to gather some political activists to pass through them what he wants and ignore the political agreement and the emerged bodies as a result of his experience and good knowledge of the aspirations of politicians, and their desire to obtain positions at any cost.

It is worth noting that the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salama, announced on February 26 the launch of political dialogue sessions in the absence of representatives of the House of Representatives and the Supreme State.
