Erdogan from Algeria: Libya should not turn into a battlefield for terrorism.

Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that Libya should not turn into an arena for terrorist organizations and war barons, stressing that his country will continue to stand with the Libyans with all its capabilities.

Erdogan added, during a press conference with Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun in Algeria, that he confirmed from the start that there was no military solution to the Libyan crisis, pointing to the extensive contacts that his country is making to achieve a permanent ceasefire.

On the other hand, Taboon mentioned that he agreed with Erdogan to implement the conclusions of the Berlin conference and to proceed towards achieving peace in Libya.

Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian Vladimir Putin called in mid-January for a ceasefire in Libya.

It is worth noting that the forces of Hifter have continued to violate the truce time and again, on Sunday, they launched an attack on the Abograin area east of Misurata, and the Libyan army forces repulsed them.
