Pompeo hopes to reopen oil ports.

Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State of the United States of America, expressed his hope to reopen the oil installations that Hifter loyalists closed on his orders.

Pompeo, in a tweet on his official Twitter account, confirmed on Sunday that the Berlin dialogue was fruitful with his counterparts, and focused on finding a political solution and a secure future for Libyans free from violence and foreign interference.

The National Petroleum Corporation announced, on Saturday, the state of force majeure, after stopping oil exports from the ports of Brega, Ras Lanuf, Al-Harika, Zuaitina and Sidra, after supporters of Hifter entered them and forced workers to close them.

It is worth noting that the loyalists of Hifter closed the valve that connects the Sharara field to the oil port of Azawiya, which resulted in the stoppage of production from the field, according to Anatolia.
