The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Colonel Salah Al-Namroush said on Saturday that the fighting axes are proceeding in a positive way through the army forces, which include a large number of competent and experienced army soldiers and officers, and the forces supporting it and the work of the intelligence services in several regions.
Al-Namroush stressed, in a statement, that the Libyan army forces are fighting for the legitimacy of the internationally recognized GNA to repel the aggression on Tripoli and all Libyan cities under its control, noting that the areas that welcomed Hifter gangs have become a scene of crime, kidnapping and destruction from his militants, and became a fertile ground for terrorism and arms and drug trade, which destabilizes the country and neighboring countries.
Al-Namroush explained that the aggressive Hifter gangs depend in their attack on the support of the countries and mercenaries participating in the aggression , and without this support, they cannot withstand the Libyan army strikes.
It is worth noting that the Libyan Defense Forces shot down a MiG-23 warplane,and arrested the piolt south of Al-Zawiya, on Saturday.
