Fhaima: The commission did not comply for the second time with the proposed election date of January 24.

A member of the House of Representatives, Saleh Fhaima, said that the House of Representatives will hold a general session next Monday, headed by Aqila Saleh.

Fhaima revealed in an interview with Al-Arabiya channel, that the House of Representatives is about to send a letter to the High Electoral Commission, asking it to provide them with the reasons for not holding the elections in an official and detailed manner.

Fhaima added that the commission has not sent any report so far, explaining the obstacles that prevented the holding of the elections on the 24th of last December, with the exception of talking about force majeure.

Fhaima explained that the Road Map Committee is communicating with all concerned parties in Libya, and is continuing to investigate the reasons for not holding the elections on time, noting that the commission did not comply for the second time with the date it set and announced to the Libyan people, which is January 24, according to Al Arabiya Channel.
