The National Oil Corporation announced the status of force majeure and stopped the shipment of crude oil from the port of Zawia.
The organization said on its official website Saturday that the announcement was the result of the production stopped in the field of Al-sharara because of the closure of an unidentified group to the valves on the pipeline between Al-Hamada and Zawia port.
The National Oil Corporation confirmed that the closure would stop the supply of Opry electric power plant with crude oil.
