Member of Parliament Abdul-Wahab Zulia said Friday in a statement to Arraed that the statement of the British Embassy in Libya does not constitute a real value, unless it represents the opinions and ideas of most Libyans.
Zulia added that the blatant and illogical interference in Libyan affairs by many countries confirms that they their interests are linked to certain people, pointing out that this matter exacerbates differences, affects the political scene and disrupts or seeks to delay a political settlement.
It is worth noting that the British Embassy in Libya announced Friday in an official statement that it will only recognize the Government of National Unity as an authority tasked with leading Libya to elections, and does not support the establishment of parallel governments or institutions.
