Parliament spokesman Abdullah Blehiq said on Monday that the parliament discussed, during its consultative session, which was held in Tripoli, the progress of the electoral process in all its stages and political developments in the country. I
Blehiq added in a press statement in Tripoli that the council is continuing its communication with all parties and institutions concerned with the elections “to preserve the gains achieved.”
Blehiq confirmed that the council will continue to hold its official sessions as usual to follow up on the latest developments.
Blehiq explained that the session was chaired by the deputy speaker, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, and was attended by 65 deputies from all over the country.
It is worth noting that the House of Representatives formed a committee last week to communicate with the High Electoral Commission to see the difficulties facing the conduct of the electoral process, provided that it submits its report to the parliament next Wednesday.
