During his meeting in Moscow with the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov affirmed his country’s readiness to contribute to the stability of Libya and to the success of the committee’s work. In the meeting, which was attended by members of the UN mission and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense in the State of Russia, Bogdanov discussed the terms of the Geneva ceasefire agreement, especially the removal of foreign forces and mercenaries to achieve Libyan sovereignty, according to what was reported by the Russian “Sputnik” agency.
