The Athority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced that 25 unidentified bodies had been recovered from 5 sites of mass and individual graves at the general garbage dump in Tarhuna.
The Athority added, in a statement, on Tuesday, that it had exhumed 10 corpses from the first grave, 9 from the second grave, 4 from the third grave, and a corpse in the fourth and fifth graves.
The authority indicated that it faced difficulties and put its team at risk; Because of the odors and fumes that were emitted from the garbage dump it also confirmed that it would continue working on the rest of the reports submitted to the authority.
It is worth noting that the General Authority for Searching and Identifying the Missing persons confirmed, last Tuesday, that 10 unidentified bodies had been recovered from the public garbage dump in Tarhuna.
