Al Safrani: Meeting of Parliament and the State Council in Morocco is a last chance to come up with a constitutional base and an election law.

Member of the Supreme Council of State, Abdul Salam Al-Safrani, said in a statement to Arraed Thursday that the meeting of the two committees of the House of Representatives and the Supreme State Council in Morocco represents a last opportunity for the two chambers; To come up with a constitutional base and the law of presidential and parliamentary elections.

He called on the members of the two committees to seize this opportunity in order to complete the provisions of the road map and reach a consensus between them to complete the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 24.

Al-Safrani mentioned that , after the end of the aggression on Tripoli, many people opposed the Geneva Dialogue, and today the Libyans have seen the positive effects of that option.

The council of State member stated that there is no reason for incompatibility, as all points of disagreement can be overcome. The important thing is to cut the road off for those who want to obstruct this achievement that the Libyans are waiting for.

It is worth noting that the 13 + 13 Committee will meet, today, Thursday, in Morocco; To discuss reaching consensus on a constitutional base for the upcoming elections.
