Germany Supports The Italian Initiatives On Libya More Than The French Ones

The German Chancellor Angela Merkel stressed that her country supports the Italian initiatives on Libya more than French initiatives, praising the results of the Palermo conference.

Merkel, in talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella, was ready to take part in future initiatives on the situation in Libya, the “Brinkwire” agency reported.

The President of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord (NGA), Faiz Al-Sarraj, discussed recently with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Germany’s support for the Presidential Council and the Government of National Accord.
