Pashagha: The Ministry Of Interior Needs A Direct International Support

The Minister of the Interior in Al-Wefaq government Fathi Pashagha, on Wednesday, during a meeting with the charge d’affaires of the British Embassy in Libya, said that the ministry needs direct international support within the training of security elements and building the capacities of the ministry.

Pashagha discussed with the British Charge d’Affaires the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the security field, praising Britain’s role in supporting Al-Wefaq government and its security and technical assistance, according to the ministry’s official page.

The Minister of the Interior in Al-Wefaq Fathi Pashagha, signed last November, with the British Ambassador to Libya, “Frank Baker,” a memorandum of understanding for security cooperation between the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry, and the British Agency for the fight against crime.
