The Presidential Council (PC) condemned the military escalation in Al-Sadada, which is considered a flagrant violation of all the agreements adopted by all parties during the international conferences held to resolve the Libyan crisis.
In a statement, the PC stressed its rejection of “this provocation and encroachment,” which may drag the country into a “new” spiral of violence, calling on all sides to calm down and to immediately stop these military operations and the practice reasoning of the mind for the interests of the country.
The presidential said that everyone is required to improve the general conditions and create the atmosphere for the implementation of the constitutional and electoral entitlements, which could don’t be implemented if the fighting continues.
The armed clashes broke out Wednesday around the camp of the 28 of May, in the east of the city of Ben Walid between an armed force belonging to Ibrahim Al-Jadran and another force that follows the leadership of Al-Karama.
