Al-Meshri Meets With Representatives Of The “Fazan Anger” Movement

The head of the Supreme Council of State, Khalid Al-Meshri, met in Tripoli with representatives of the “Fazan Anger” movement to discuss the problems in the southern region.

During the meeting held on Wednesday, Al-Meshri stressed that the shutting down of oilfields is not the correct way to resolve these crises, expressing his understanding of the movement’s demands, especially in the absence of government services in the south and what the region is suffering from, according to the information office of the President.

Al-Meshri expressed his readiness to coordinate with Al-Wefaq government to work on implementing projects in the south and contribute to solving the problems that the region suffers from.

The “Fazan Anger” movement had shut down, last Saturday, Al-Sharara oilfield, demanding the fulfillment of several demands, most notably finding jobs for the people of the South in the oil institution, and the operation of Obary gas station, and economic development of the region.
