US – Italian Support for the UN Mission in Libya

The United States and Italy have confirmed their support for the efforts of the United Nations Mission and the strengthening of their cooperation for a united Libya.

In a statement published on its official website, on Tuesday, The US State Department said that the two countries agreed, after the Palermo conference, to mobilize international support for mediation efforts led by the United Nations Mission in Libya.

The United States participated with a high-level delegation representing its president, Donald Trump, at the Palermo conference on Libya which was held last week.
