Al-Soor: We Are Negotiating With the Ones Who Refuse to Get Off the Turkish Ship at the Port of Misurata

Director of the Office of Investigations in the Office of the Attorney General Siddiq Al-Soor said that negotiations with illegal immigrants refusing to disembark from the Turkish ship in the port of Misurata are continuing and that this situation does not require the use of force.

The director explained that the director of the port is negotiating with the migrants who are asking to be transferred to another destination, namely Italy, adding that a high-level prosecutor is overseeing the matter by peaceful means.

Al-Soor pointed out that the number of immigrants is simple, does not constitute any danger, and does not require interference or orders to use force, stressing that the port manager is committed to ending this matter.

About 90 illegal migrants have refused to leave a Turkish cargo ship for more than a week, who have been rescued by the coastguards of Libya, demanding a change of destination to Europe.
