The National Center for Disease Control announced the cure of the first case of coronavirus in Libya, and another case is recovering well after having a cross-sectional image of the chest and given promising results, pending the results of the reference laboratory analysis.
The doctor treating the cases of Coronavirus Abdulnabi Al-Rayes , in a press conference on Monday, confirmed that the results of the samples analyzes appear in a short time, as it only takes 3 hours compared to the countries of the world.
The Director of the Emergency Department at the Ministry of Health, Tawfiq Harisha, stated that they had received mobile isolation rooms and personal protection equipment from abroad, and a new isolation center was equipped with a capacity of 60 beds, which could be expanded by another 50 beds.
Hreisha explained that work is continuing to prepare the rest of the hospitals to detect cases of the Corona infection, and that supplies arrive consecutively to cover all municipalities.
For his part, Director of the National Center for Disease Control Badr Adin Alnajjar said that social separation and commitment to home quarantine are the first steps in reducing the spread of the Coronavirus.
It is worth noting that the National Center for Disease Control announced, on Monday, the registration of a new case of coronavirus after the testing of 14 samples, 13 samples were negative.
