The committee for receiving and sorting the files of candidates for ministerial portfolios in the “Bashaga” government begins its work.

The media office of Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha said on Saturday that the committee concerned with receiving and sorting the files of candidates to take over ministerial portfolios in the government has begun its work.

The media office said, in a statement, that the committee will review and study the résumés and evaluate them according to the criteria stipulated by Libyan laws.

The office added that this step comes as a prelude to addressing the competent judicial departments with the names and data of the candidates; To ensure that there are no obstacles or criminal or judicial restrictions.

It is worth noting that on February 10, the Libyan House of Representatives assigned Fathi Bashagha as head of the new government, provided that he present his cabinet formation within a period not exceeding 15 days from the date of the assignment.
