Bashagha continues consultations with the HoR and the State Council to form his government.

On Tuesday, the media office of Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha confirmed that consultations will continue with all political parties, including the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State, in order to form a government.

The office said that Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha held his consultations today with Parliament Speaker Aqila Saleh, and a number of parliament members from the eastern and southern regions.

The office added that meetings and consultations will be completed with members of the House of Representatives from the Western Region and the President of the Supreme Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri, members of the Council and the President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Manifi and his two deputies, with the aim of involving everyone in order to reach the greatest degree of consensus and participation in the formation of the Libyan government, according to the office.

It is worth noting that the House of Representatives chose last Thursday, Fathi Bashagha, as the head of the new government, provided that he present his formation within 15 days.
