Chad Military Council: A national dialogue next February that includes the return of the Chadian groups present in Libya.

The head of the Chadian Military Council, Mohamed Idriss Deby, said that a national dialogue will be launched between all Chadian movements next February in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Deby made it clear – according to Al Jazeera – that the dialogue will include the Chadian groups in Libya, and that all these groups are welcome to return to the country and participate in building the state, provided that they disarm at the borders and not enter the country with their weapons.

The head of the Military Council stressed that the solution in Libya must be Libyan, and that all international forces and mercenary groups leave the country, and leave the Libyans to choose their own future.

It is worth noting that member of the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5, Major General Mukhtar Al-Naqasa, said last October that the delegations of Chad, Sudan and Niger had expressed their full readiness to cooperate with them in the file of African mercenaries and to agree on setting up a practical mechanism for the exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters.

Guterres: There are more than 12,000 detainees in 27 prisons and detention facilities in Libya.
