Le Drian: We support the UN mission to reach the elections that the Libyans expect.

On Sunday, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian renewed his country’s support for the UN mission in Libya; “until reaching the electoral entitlement within the framework that the Libyans expect.”

Le Drian said in a tweet on his Twitter account that he will discuss with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, the reforms and consultations carried out by the United Nations mission with all Libyan parties.

It is worth noting that the Secretary-General of the United Nations appointed the former acting UN envoy to Libya, Stephanie Williams, as his advisor to Libya on December 5.
