US lawmakers call for the punishment of an electronic surveillance company that contracted with Libya, and the company denies.

US lawmakers have called on the administration of President “Joe Biden” to punish the “Nexa Technologies” group and other electronic monitoring companies for their involvement in a contract with Libya.

For its part, the European company denied the accusations of legislatorsaffiliated with the Democratic Party of selling surveillance and espionage systems to Libya, stressing that it was not involved in any contracts in Libya.

Ten Democratic lawmakers urged the Biden administration to sanction four electronic surveillance companies for “enabling them to abuse human rights” by selling powerful surveillance technology to authoritarian governments, according to CNN.
