Maltese court releases two Libyan youths accused of using forged documents.

The Maltese Criminal Court of Appeal has released two imprisoned Libyan youths; After they admitted using false documents to leave Malta on bail pending an appeal against their six-month prison sentence.

The newspaper “Malta Today” reported on Friday that the two boys, aged 16 and 17, had applied for bail, after admitting they had used two false identity cards to leave Malta.

For his part, according to the newspaper, the Maltese public prosecutor, in his memoirs, objected to the request for bail, arguing that the young men were accused of serious crimes against border security, among other reasons.
