HoR delegation: We agreed on important points during our visit to Turkey.

After its visit to Turkey – and its meeting with Turkish President Recep Erdogan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and a number of committees of the Turkish National Assembly – the Parliamentary Committee said that they agreed on 7 important points.

The committee added, in a statement on Friday, that among these points is the formation of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee between the two councils and work to ease procedural restrictions on the Libyan community and Libyan students in the Turkish state.

The committee explained that the points included facilitating the procedures for obtaining a visa, reducing fees for citizens, and opening the way for Libyan aviation and Libyan airlines without exception between Benina and Istanbul airports.

The committee indicated that among the points that were agreed upon was the opening of transport lines and direct shipping with the ports of Tobruk, Benghazi

And work on reopening the Turkish Consulate in Benghazi, in addition to working on the return of Turkish Airlines to Libya and Turkish companies in general to complete their previous contracts.
