The Council of Dignitaries and Notables of Misurata rejected the candidacy of those who used excessive force against the people, and against whom local and international arrest warrants were issued by the International Criminal Court; Because of crimes against humanity committed against the Libyan people in reference to Saif Gaddafi.
In a statement on Sunday, the Dignitaries renewed their rejection of the candidacy of those who overturned the legitimate authority, froze the constitutional declaration, plunged the country into a series of wars, conflicts and divisions, and committed crimes, in the forefront of which were the mass graves in the city of Tarhuna.
The Dignitaries considered that the Supreme Judicial Council is a partner in pushing for the failure of the electoral process by immunizing criminals against legal challenge by limiting the appeals to the scope of the constituencies of candidates, which is not hidden from anyone that this is practically impossible.
