Foreign Minister Najla al-Manqoush said that the withdrawal of 20% of mercenaries before the elections will be a factor of confidence, and that insisting on the exit of all mercenaries will be an obstacle to the elections in Libya; Because their exit is a complex issue, and it will not happen in one day.
Al-Manqoush added – in an exclusive interview with Al-Arabiya TV – on Friday, that the government played its role regarding the elections, and is awaiting the role of Parliament, praising the role of the “5 + 5” joint military committee, which “bringing the East and together.”
The Foreign Minister stressed that the US policy realizes that the stability of Libya is important to the region, indicating that the administration of US President “Joe Biden” has a positive weight in support of the elections, noting that the holding of the “Supporting Libya’s Stability” conference in Tripoli is a message that the country is recovering.
