The 5+5 Committee draws up a plan to evacuate foreign fighters.

In a statement following its meetings in Geneva, the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5 announced that it had prepared a plan for the gradual, balanced and simultaneous removal of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya for all parties.

On Friday, the committee reaffirmed the mechanism for monitoring the ceasefire agreement signed in October last year, in addition to communicating with all local and international parties concerned with implementing the ceasefire agreement.

It is worth noting that the committee held a meeting last September with the participation of the commander of the US Africa Command “AFRICOM”, General “Steven Townsend” and the American ambassador to Libya, “Richard Norland”, in which they discussed a number of files, including the withdrawal of mercenaries and the unification of the military institution.
