On Wednesday, the Supreme Judicial Council and the State Council of the Egyptian Judiciary signed a memorandum of understanding that includes the exchange of fatwas, rulings, legal and judicial jurisprudence, research, articles, training and rehabilitation.
The memorandum included an agreement that the Egyptian State Council would provide technical and technolgical advice and assistance to the judicial bodies of the Supreme Judicial Council in Libya, through the implementation of specialized courses, to be carried out in Egypt, according to the Egyptian newspaper Alyum Alsabaa.
It was also agreed to exchange publications related to the common jurisdiction, including fatwas and rulings, studies, periodicals, bulletins, and journals for each of them, and to find an appropriate mechanism to benefit from the list of references in the Egyptian State Council Library and its electronic platform.
It is worth noting that the President of the Supreme Court and President of the Supreme Judicial Council in Libya, Counselor Mohamed Al-Hafi, is currently visiting Egypt to hold meetings with the Egyptian State Council for the Judiciary.
