Bouqadoum calls for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Libya.

On Tuesday, Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum called for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the withdrawal of foreign fighters and mercenaries in Libya, to preserve the country’s sovereignty.

Bouqadoum said, in his speech to the meeting of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union, that it is necessary to join efforts with the United Nations to help Libya, on the political, security, economic and social levels.

It is worth noting that Algeria currently chairs the Peace and Security Council of the African Union, and it consists of fifteen countries, five of which are elected every three years, and ten countries every two years.
