Libya is participating, with 11 countries, starting from Sunday, a naval exercise on the Tunisian coast, with the participation of the American command in Africa.
In addition to Libya, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, the United States of America, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Greece and Malta, the naval exercise, which will continue until May 28, will take part with 9 military ships and 130 officers belonging to the participating countries.
The training, described by the Tunisian Nessma TV website, aims to train the participating navies to lead and implement a joint naval operation to resist illegal activities at sea and to develop the skills of the military through the exchange of experiences between them.
It is worth noting that the Libyan navy participated, last January, with the 5 + 5 countries in the Republic of Malta, in training executive managers to deepen their geopolitical and geostrategic knowledge.
