Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said Saturday that his country will continue its effectiveness with Libya with the same enthusiasm and vitality as it was on the first day, noting the agreement on all common issues.
“Akar” added during a breakfast banquet for the Turkish Special Forces, according to what was reported by Anadolu Agency – that some countries, the first of which is Greece, are making provocative moves against the new Libyan government, because of the agreement with Turkey.
Akar made it clear that the development of relations between Ankara and Cairo would be beneficial and necessary for Turkey, Libya and Egypt.
Akar pointed out that the roots of Turkish-Libyan relations go back 500 years, and that Turkey will continue to support Libya in its just cause – according to him.
It is worth noting that Turkish Defense Minister “Hulusi Akar” and Foreign Minister “Mevlut Çavuşoğlu” visited the capital, Tripoli, last Monday, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
