A number of female residents of the Social Welfare Home for Girls in Benghazi said that a security force came to the home and demanded that they evacuate it within 72 hours.
In their statement on Monday, the inmates appealed to the competent authorities to look into the matter and uncover the reason for the request to leave the building.
The inmates demanded any party that could intervene to solve the problem to do so, and explained that they have no shelter other than this home, which has been owned by Social Security since 2010.
It is worth noting that the Benghazi Social Welfare Home contains more than 30 girls from 12 to 50 years old.
