Al-Sunni: The exit of mercenaries from Libya with their weapons will destabilize the security of neighboring countries.

The Libyan delegate to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, said that the exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libya is inevitable, and it is necessary to disarm them, through a mechanism agreed upon by the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee.

Al-Sunni added in his tweet on “Twitter” that the exit of mercenaries with their weapons from Libya will recycle the conflict in Libya and destabilize the security of neighboring countries and the region, as is happening now, indicating that work is underway to hold a Security Council session on this issue, in coordination with the African group in the United nations.

It is worth noting that Chadian armed opposition factions managed to enter Chadian lands from Libya, seeking to topple the regime in Chad, and this led to the killing of Chadian President Idriss Debi during battles with the army in the north of the country.
