The media official at the National Center for Disease Control, Imad Najouma, said in a statement to Arraed Saturday that the percentage of citizens’ turnout for the registration system for the anti-Coronavirus vaccine as a first experiment is considered reasonable, and it will be increasing exponentially with the launch of the vaccination campaign.
Najouma explained that the vaccination campaign was launched through the National Center for Disease Control in Souq Al-Jumah, in the presence of the Minister of Health, the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the Director of Disease Control and state officials.
Najouma added that the targeted groups of the campaign are: medical and auxiliary medical personnel, and the staff in the isolation and filtration centers.
It is worth noting that the national campaign for vaccination against Corona virus was launched, Saturday, from the branch of the National Center for Disease Control in Souq Al-Jumah, after the supply of 101 thousand doses of the “Sputnik” vaccine and 57 thousand and 600 doses of the “AstraZenka” vaccine.
