Supreme Council member Mansour Al-Hasadi said, in a statement to Arraed, on the occasion of the second anniversary of Haftar’s aggression against Tripoli, that freedom in Libya has triumphed over tyranny, and democracy is the choice of the Libyans.
Al-Hasadi added that the civil state is the desire and the wish of the people, and that national reconciliation and the return of the displaced are the way to stability and peace.
The council member affirmed that war crimes and crimes against humanity do not lapse with the time, stressing that the perpetrators should be pursued and brought to justice.
It is worth noting that the commander of the aggressor militias, Khalifa Haftar, launched an attack on the capital on April 4, 2019, leaving hundreds of civilians dead and wounded, at a time when the country was preparing to go to the National Inclusive Meeting in Ghadames.
