Military Committee: We disposed of 3 tons of war remnants, The area extending from “Abo Qrain” to “Boirat Al-Hassoun” is safe.

The 5 + 5 military committee announced the disposal of 3 tons of war remnants of ammunition and missiles, east of Abo Qrain area.

The member of the committee responsible for the demining file, Brigadier Mohammed Al-Torjuman, said in a press statement on Saturday that the area extending from Abo Qrain to Buirat Al-Hassoun (90 km west of Sirte) is now considered safe after the engineering teams finish clearing mines there.

Al-Torjuman confirmed that the clearing operations have not ended yet in the areas after “Buirat Al-Hassoun” and in the Sittin area, indicating that it needs days to finish clearing them and removing mines from them.

It is worth noting that the member of the committee responsible for the demining file, Mohammed Al-Torjuman, told Arraed last February that the Military Committee disposed of 3 tons of dangerous remnants of war at the Military College in Misurata, and more than 300 tons will be disposed of in the coming period.
