The Chairman of the Justice and Construction Party, Mohammed Sawan, stressed, on Monday, the need to approve the new government formation, give it confidence and support, adding that the country’s situation does not tolerate further aggravation, noting that what has been achieved represents an opportunity that imposes on all rational people the necessity to stick to moving forward to approve it.
In a post on his personal page, Sawan called on all Libyans to join hands and move away from everything that drives towards chaos and work to complete the path of dialogue.
Sawan explained that the political settlement process started in Skhirat, then continued in Geneva after the grave breach that occurred through the mechanisms of the agreement itself was addressed.
Sawan pointed out that the political dialogue team managed, after arduous efforts, to reach a political settlement that finally got us out of the prevailing political deadlock.
It is worth noting that the period granted to the new prime minister, Abdulhamid Dbaiba, to present his ministerial formation to Parliament ends on February 26, according to the roadmap agreed upon at the Political Dialogue Forum in Tunis last November.
