Sawan: We welcome the new executive authority and will supportive it.

The Chairman of the Justice and Construction Party, Mohammed Sawan, confirmed their support for the new executive authority to reach the elections, pointing out that their support for the rival list was to reduce the difficulties that the new authority will face now.

Sawan said during an open dialogue session through the “Zoom” application, The strategy of the party is to support the new authority and that they do not personally doubt any of the people on the list, but it must be said that the list faces great challenges and difficulties, and needs internal and international support.

Sawan indicated that the path of dialogue was paved with thorns and full of betrayal and accusations of treason, and was the subject of ridicule and mockery, noting that they are now very pleased after seeing the most hardline parties dancing, applauding and cheering transparency and the national choice.

The Chairman of the Justice and Construction Party added that the party issued a statement and welcomed the list of “Dbaiba – Al manifi” and blessed its choice and wished them success, noting that the Justice and Construction Party played a big part to pave the way for the resumption of the political process.

Sawan explained that the new government faces many challenges in how to reach every inch in Libya and not remain like the Al Sarraj government, so that it can provide services and extend its control so that we can reach the elections.

It is worth noting that the Geneva Political Dialogue Forum selected last Friday, the list of candidates, Mohammed Al-Manaifi as Chairman of the Presidential Council, and the membership of Abdullah Al-Lafi, Musa Al-Koni and Abdulhamid Dbaiba as Prime Minister with 39 votes, and the Justice and Construction Party issued a statement welcoming this choice.
