“In a phone conversation with Al Manifi, Di Maio” confirms Italy’s readiness to strengthen bilateral relations with Libya.

Italian Foreign Minister “Luigi Di Maio”, during his contact with the new President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manifi, affirmed his country’s readiness to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations with Libya, and to pay attention to economic development.

Di Maio welcomed – in an official statement – Tuesday, the results of the new executive authority elections, pointing out that his country is committed to supporting Libya and its people to achieve stability, – according to Anadolu Agency –

It is worth noting that the Geneva Political Dialogue Forum selected last Friday, the list of candidates Mohammed Al-Manaifi as Chairman of the Presidential Council, and the membership of Abdullah Al-Lafi, Moussa Al-Koni and Abdulhamid Dbaiba as Prime Minister with 39 votes.
