Advisor to the Turkish President: We welcome the election of the new government, and our agreements with Libya will not be affected.

The advisor to the Turkish President, Yassin Aktay, said on Sunday that the agreements that his country concluded with the Government of National Accord will not be affected by the election of the new government because they are international agreements, pointing out that the government of “Abdulhamid Adbaiba” supports the Turkish role in Libya.

Aktay added in – a statement to the Russian Sputnik Agency – that the choice of the new government in Libya came after reaching understandings through a well-known dialogue process, and his country welcomes them and sees it as a positive matter. to enhance Stability and internal dialogue in the country.

Aktay stressed that establishing a presidential system that includes the West, East and South is a positive matter, calling on the Libyan parties to respect each other and not to give the coup leaders a chance and strive for the success and continuation of the political process.

Aktay warned of the possibility of undermining the political process in Libya and obstructing it, pointing out that some forces are seeking to rob Libya from the Libyans, as they did previously.

It is worth noting that Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated, on Saturday, in a phone call, Mohammed Al-Mnifi for winning the presidency of the Presidency Council, and Abdulhamid Adbaiba for winning the Prime Minister’s Post.
