Supreme Council of State: We welcome the Geneva results and call on new authority to work on holding elections on time to end the transitional period.

On Friday, the Supreme Council of State welcomed the results of the Geneva dialogue and the reconfiguration of the new executive authority.

Through a statement, the Council called on the new authority to assume the responsibility entrusted to them and learn from the mistakes of their predecessors, calling on them to give priority to the national interest over any every consideration and to work on the referendum on the constitution and the upcoming legislative elections so that the people choose their representatives and end the transitional stages.

It is worth noting that the Geneva Political Dialogue Forum voted in favor of the list of candidates, Mohammed Al-Mnifi as Chairman of the Presidential Council, and the membership of Abdullah Al-Lafi, Moussa Al-Koni and Abdulhamid Adbaiba as Prime Minister with 39 votes.
