Haweli: The vote on the presidential choice has not started yet, and there is discussion about the mandatory resignation of candidates from their sovereign positions before voting.

Member of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, Abdulqadir Haweli, said in a statement to Arraed that the voting process for the presidency and members of the Presidency Council has not yet begun.

Haweli added that the Forum’s Legal Committee is discussing the premise of not voting on choosing the Presidential Council, until after the candidates resigned from their sovereign positions.

It is worth noting that the political forum in Geneva to choose the new executive authority witnessed in its second session Tuesday, the completion of the presentation of the candidates for the Presidential Council of their electoral program.
