The Algerian Foreign Minister visits Tripoli to support the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum.

The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabri Bouqadoum, arrived on Wednesday in the capital, Tripoli, to discuss the latest developments in political dialogue to resolve the Libyan crisis with Libyan officials.

The Director of the Information Office of the Supreme Council of State, Hussein al-Najjar, said in a statement reported by the Anadolu Agency, that Bouqadoum’s visit comes within the framework of Algeria’s support for the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, indicating that Bouqadoum discussed during his meeting with the President of the Supreme Council of State Khaled al-Mishri the developments of the situation in Libya, and the Political dialogue.

In a related context, the spokesman for the President of the Presidency Council, Ghalib Al-Zaqlai, told Anadolu Agency that Al-Sarraj discussed with the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs the security track in Libya, economic cooperation, and the Libyan-Algerian national security, as well as the problem of the electricity crisis in Libya, and means of cooperation to solve this problem.

It is worth noting that the United Nations Support Mission in Libya announced, last Tuesday, that the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum approved the proposal for a mechanism for selecting the executive authority by 73%.
