“Bogdanov” and “Kubis” stress the importance of coordinating the efforts of the international community in Libya.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, and the new UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, stressed the importance of continuing to coordinate the efforts of the international community with the role of the United Nations in order to push the settlement in Libya forward.

This came during a telephone conversation that “Kubis” had with “Bogdanov”, during which they discussed issues related to the situation in and around Libya, according to what was reported by the Russian news agency “Sputnik”.

It is worth noting that the UN Security Council appointed, on January 17th, the former Slovakian foreign minister and the UN envoy in Iraq in the past and later in Lebanon, as head of the UN mission to Libya.
